Sir Sway: Adjustment, alteration, modification. For the past eighteen years I have fallen into the rhythm of a wheel just like a mouse, running into the same routine every week, every month, every year. And now I find myself trying to make my life as exciting as possible with the simplest things, whether I am starting new projects, starting to eat healthy, or just meeting new people… or trying to ride the occasional speeding ticket (the glades). What makes it particularly difficult is after playing soccer four nights a week for the past fourteen years of my life, I’ve been off for the last eight months due to an injury. Luckily though, surgery went well so I can play again next year and hopefully for my university. I met some great people throughout my career but none of my teams have been nearly as tight as the one I have been with for the past three years. Probably my closest friend on my team was founded/fashioned because we share similar styles so after about three years of talking fashion with this kid I realized he is the perfect candidate to co-manage this blog. He has great style and he knows his stuff better then anyone I know. And because I am moving to Halifax for university he is going to be my eyes in Toronto.
Mr. Mobile: Sir Sway and I have a long history. Brought together by our love of soccer, we found ourselves on the same team at the age of 15. At this point I can safely say that we were both in the process of finding our own style, and it was this common interest that initially harbored our friendship. Traveling the globe to places as near as Cleveland, Ohio, and as far as Lisbon, Portugal gave us the opportunity to develop our individual opinions on fashion and pop culture. Together we’ve grown and evolved from naïve teens to well-dressed young men. Today, although we’ve both dropped out of competitive soccer, we can still be seen shopping downtown. This blog is our way of making public our views on the newest cultural trends and fashions. Our hope: that you check out The Prestige, learn a little something, and enjoy the content.
